The 12th annual Bollywood Film Festival returns to the Doris Duke Theatre with a lineup of the biggest Hindi hits from the past year. See trademark song-and-dance blockbusters alongside a new generation of innovative filmmakers and actors as they branch out to new genres and societal topics to make their mark on the largest film industry in the world. Don’t miss the spotlight on Shakespeare’s influence in Bollywood during the festival with one-time screenings leading up to Dream(e)scapes, a centerpiece live performance from Aaja Nachle Hawaii.

The festival kicks off with a reception in the Luce Pavilion featuring an Indian feast and complimentary mehndi. A short workshop led by Aaja Nachle Hawaii will be included in the festivities. Wine and beer available for purchase. Badhaai Ho screens at 7:30pm.
